You simply lift the handle all the way back and the top opens up then "Tilts" back to allow you to easily put the fruit in. Pull the handle back down and the leveraged gears easily squeeze the fruit. The cone strainer (where you invert the fruit), juice container and the "Catch" cup simply lift off so you can put them right in the sink to wash them clean. ABS plastic, 7" High.

After use always wash the strainer, press cap and juice container with tap water, wipe over the Juicer with a clean damp cloth, and dry thoroughly with a clean dry cloth.
